Celeste Hart, MD is a Tallahassee, FL native. She received her undergraduate degree in mathematics from Princeton University and the MD degree from Howard University College of Medicine (HUCM). Her subspecialty training in endocrinology was at the National Institutes of Health where she matriculated in the Diabetes Branch.
She served on the faculty at HUCM from 1986-1991 as graduate assistant professor of physiology and director of the Endocrinology Research Laboratory. In 1991 she began her practice in Tallahassee where she also serves as a co-medical director of the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Diabetes Center.
She is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Thyroid Association and the American Diabetes Association. She also serves on the Florida Diabetes Advisory Council.
